The 02s baby version, Indigo, hosts the world's best DJs in what is sure to be a fiercely contested competition.
2007 will mark the 24th year of the event and will provide an opportunity to see the winners from all previous heats in action as they bid to be crowned king of the turntables.
The championships are being held over two days and will be hosted by beatbox favourite Killa Kella.
Saturday sees the Battle For World Supremacy, in basic terms - the Team Championships, while the main individual final takes place the following evening. Each finalist will only have six minutes to win over the judges with their skills.
The Indigo is a more intimate venue than the main 02 and a capacity of just 2,500 should make for a unique atmosphere.
