The Shaolin Monks:
Kung-Fu Masters Live

10 October, from 7.30pm, £13-£36, Peacock Theatre, WC2A

The hugely popular Kung Fu Masters show makes its return to the capital and promises to be packed full of the usual death-defying stunts and acrobatics.

Twenty Shaolin Monks, accompanied by five trainees, will be giving a demonstration of their martial arts skills in front of what is likely to be an amazed audience.

The fast-paced show sees the Monks use a range of equipment to showcase their talents, which include breaking bricks and metal poles over each other's heads.

While all this might sound a touch on the violent side, these Monks are fully practised in the art of withstanding pain and do this by centering all their energy into a single area.

Their talents have also been featured on the big screen in such films as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and House of Flying Daggers.

The show runs until 3 November. More information can be found at www.peacock-theatre.com
