Seduced - Sex and Censorship in the Cinema

The Barbican throws its doors open for a season of films that have either been banned, rejected or censored by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).

Opening the event will be a screentalk by director Catherine Breillat, which follows a showing of her 1998 film Romance.

The majority of the films on offer are rated 18 and include Stanley Kubrick's famous Lolita and Marlon Brando in the Last Tango in Paris.

The event runs for a week, with all films to be shown in their full, uncut glory.
