RSC London Season

From 21 February, Tricycle Theatre, NW6 (020 7328 1000, www.rsc.org.uk) £10-£18

Opening the Tricycle's RSC season is I'll Be the Devil, a new play about the lasting effects of occupation on war-torn Ireland.

Written in response to Shakespeare's The Tempest and directed by Ramin Gray (The Ugly One, The Arsonists), it looks at the violence afflicting the country when occupied in the 18th century.

After that, Roy Williams's play Days of Significance, a response to Much Ado About Nothing, runs from 12 March.

Originally shown in Stratford, and now reworked, it focuses on the lives of two young soldiers out binge drinking, the night before leaving for active service.
