A gig for charity

Evening Standard   19 Feb 2008

Consequences Live

2 March, 1pm, Roundhouse, NW1, (0870 389 1846) £45

This huge star-studded Camden gig foreshadows the release of the unique charity song, Consequences.

The brainchild of Primrose Hill's Pearl Lowe, the track is based on the parlour game of the same name, so that each artist adds his bit independently without knowing its context.

Paul Weller, Supergrass, Dirty Pretty Things, New Young Pony Club and the Noisettes are among the contributors. Don't miss a chance to see them live in concert, before the track, co-written by Pearl's hubby, Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey, is released later in March.

All money raised from the collaboration will go to the homeless charity, Crisis.
