The capital's many Antipodeans will get a taste of home life when the London Australian Film Festival arrives at the Barbican Centre from 6 March.

The event is now in its 14th year and runs for ten days, providing an insight into Australian cinema.

A sizeable line-up of Aussie movies are scheduled, including Black Water, recently released in the UK, and last year's award-winning success, Kenny.

Festival organisers have also moved to include a tribute to the late Heath Ledger, with a showing of his first major Australian film, Two Hands.
