Prokoviev's most popular work arrives in London as a new full-length theatrical production.
The enchanting story tells of a young boy, Peter, who ignores his grandfather's warning and pursues a vicious wolf with the help of his friends.
Prokoviev craftily linked a musical theme to each character of the story, in a bid to help introduce children to classical orchestral music.
The result was a resounding success - not least with Stalin - and now it has inspired director Anne Geenen's unique adaptation of the tale, narrated by actor Brian Blessed and choreographed by Didy Veldman.
