3 May, 8pm-2am
Old Billingsgate, EC3 (0871 230 1089, www.bandstand events.co.uk)
£25

Snap up a ticket for the exciting line-up of British talent at this unique indoor festival. Hosted by Sunday Best and Bestival founder Rob da Bank, the evening will combine a selection of live acts and DJs, old and new, for an enterprising start to the summer music season.

Mark Ronson, Late of the Pier and The Cuban Brothers, right, will be among the performers at Bandstand, described by da Bank as “a very British, eccentric celebration of music, comedy and performance taking you to another world”.

If that doesn't lure you to this stirring event right next to the Thames, perhaps the lack of rain and mud, the usual festival spoilers, will.
