If you can't bear the frenzy of the larger festivals, the Big Chill is a nicely low-key option, as its name suggests.
Leonard Cohen is making an appearance — Lord knows what they'll make of his morose ballads — while other main stage acts include Fat Freddy's Drop, contemporary jazz group Portico Quartet, Rachel Unthank and the Winterset, indie wizards Vincent Vincent and the Villains and DJ Trentemoller live.
While music is the focus there's much more besides: the ICA, Roundhouse, BFI and Underbelly are bringing an innovative range of art, film and comedy to the majestic Malvern hills — all in the festival spirit.
