Ferret racing and morris dancing will come to Regent's Park as part of this year's innocent village fete.

Now in its second year, this is a great way to entertain the family and relax on a hot summer's day (here's hoping the sun is out).

Over the weekend welly-wanging, duck herding, dog agility (just for dogs), coconut shy and funfair rides will also be on the cards. When you start to feel peckish the home-made cakes and cream teas are a must. Of course, there will also be lots of smoothies to taste. The farmers' market, with stalls from Borough Market, is also a popular choice amongst food fans.

For music lovers artists including The James Taylor Quartet, Earl Okin, Imelda May, The Fairey Band, The Ukulele Orchestra, Christian Prommer's Drumlesson, The Boy Least Likely, Peter & The Wolf, Son Of Dave and James Yuill are on the bill. The Acoustic Bandstand and al fresco ballroom will host them.

There is a dedicated children's area with food stalls, rides and a petting zoo. Adults may prefer to indulge in massages in the feel good zone.

Tickets are £7.50 for adults and £3.50 for children (plus £1.50 adult booking fee / £1 kids booking fee) and are available via Ticketmaster. It's all for a good cause too. Profit supports the Samaritans, Friends of the Earth, Wellchild and the innocent foundation.
