The festive season provides the motivation to set up the get together you have been meaning to organise. Be it a catch up with friends or a post work gathering with colleagues it is the ideal time to plan a great night out. If you haven't had a chance to arrange your event yet it is not too late.
Once a date has been set, it's a matter of picking the best location. A safe bet is a venue with a relaxing but fun atmosphere, tasty food and a good drinks selection. If you are in the mood for something warmer go for the Hot Mulled Cider. It has an aroma of sweet spices and cinnamon with clove and ginger notes. Frosty Jack is a blend of Jack Daniel's and Drambuie topped with bitter lemon. The Winter Bloody Mary is a classic drink with a twist, made with Grey Goose vodka, tomato juice , red wine and spices. In addition to the festive specials, there is the usual drinks menu which offers an extensive range.
And so for food…The Big Plates, which include salmon fishcakes and braised rib of beef, offer a generous portion. But for a party atmosphere, the World Tapas is more appropriate. These tasty small dishes are ideal to pick & mix as a group.
Each dish can be ordered individually or there are three Bundle options ranging from £22 to £25 per bundle. Particular favourites for this time of year are the turkey, salmon or tiger prawn skewers, chipolatas and mince pies. The bite size version of the Big Plate fishcakes are also scrumptious. Don't be averse to breaking with tradition either. Olives and hummus make a refreshing change from the usual Christmas menu.
With the backdrop of a vibrant ambience this is the ideal setting in which to unwind and the friendly staff are happy to join in with the festive cheer.
