Sister Act has teamed up with Barnardo's to bring you London's first charity Nun Run.

On Sunday, May 3 join hundreds of others raising money for Barnardo's by running through the City, dressed as a nun.

The four mile run promises to be fun for all ages and will make a great family day out.

Starting and finishing at Dunster Court, off Fenchurch Street, it will take you over Tower Bridge along the Thames and past many famous landmarks including Tate Modern and St. Paul's Cathedral. Start time is 11.30am with registration from 10.30am.

Entry is £20 and includes your nun costume and a donation to Barnardo's.

Sign up before March 30 and you will be entered into a prize draw to win tickets to a preview performance of Sister Act, the divine new musical comedy which will raise the roof at the London Palladium from 7 May 2009.

Went to see Major Phil Packer start his 8th day on the London Marathon near Limehouse and saw all the Nun Run nutters on the way back. What a Great Britain we have for fund raising and off beats.
