On October 1, Rob Kirby, the Great British Master Chef and leading member of the Academy of Culinary Arts, will be hosting a free dinner party demonstration at the John Lewis Foodhall at Bluewater between 7pm and 8:30pm.

During his 25 years experience, the chef has cooked for Princess Diana, Prince Charles and various heads of state.

TV chef Rob has cooked with some of the biggest culinary stars including Greg Wallace, Mark Hix, Jason Atherton, Alan Bird at the Ivy and Claire Clarke from French Laundry at many charity and industry dinners.

Guests will be able to taste eight mouth-watering dishes including posh shepherds pie, poached chicken with tomato and garlic as well as Sunday Brunch and warm chocolate pudding.

The event provides the opportunity for people to rub shoulders with Rob, while the John Lewis Foodhall specialists provide tips on how to produce the perfect lunch or dinner party.

These tips will range from food and wine pairings to making impressive desserts with simple techniques such as wrapping ice-cream in white and dark chocolate.
