With a single dessert and just two glasses of wine our bill was kept in check - but the effort of doing so was not much fun
Babbo
Film
This is a film with beautiful performances and a visual style that urges you towards reflection
Bright Star
Theatre
Although the first half of Kwei-Armah’s production is pacy, funny and intelligent, the energy level then drops off
Seize The Day
I loved this film from start to finish. Take the girlfriend, tell your mum - I'd see it again tomorrow and will buy the dvd.
I saw this last night and can't remember the last time I was so moved in the theatre.
I have been to many of London's so-called best Japanese restaurants and none have been as good as the food that I've had at Aqua Kyoto

Description: The West Dulwich Christmas Street Party is an opportunity to experience holiday shopping in a hassle free, festive and entertaining setting. With all the area shops involved showcasing a wide range gifts for the entire family, it is a marvellous day out and Christmas shopping destination in one. West Dulwich is a uniquely close-knit community, according to Karen Lumb, owner of the Alleyn Park Garden Centre, “This event epitomises what is so special about West Dulwich and fosters the bond between the shopkeepers and the wider community. Last year’s Street Party was such a success we felt we really had to bring it back this year.” The event is supported by all 19 shops, the Dulwich Estate (landlords for the area) and Southwark Council (the local council). Gift stalls and entertainment will be set up along the parade of shops on Croxted Road. The Christmas Farmer’s Market will be set up in the approach to Alleyn Park Garden Centre on Park Hall Road. Along with the stalls, there will be a children’s entertainer, carol singers and the wonderful women from Circo Rum Ba Ba, magical performers providing an extraordinary twist to the Christmas theme. Each shop will take it up themselves to do something individual, such as offer mulled wine and mince pies or special day only discounts. Alleyn Park Garden Centre will transform into a winter wonderland with a large lit tree covered in homemade ginger bread cookies.
