Description: Time Team front man and popular actor, Tony Robinson, will be describing his time presenting over 180 episodes of the UK’s most popular archaeology programme at St George’s Bloomsbury on 6th June at 7pm. The talk is hosted by World Monuments Fund Britain, the conservation charity responsible for restoring St George’s back to its 1730s baroque splendour. Tony Robinson’s witty and engaging style is sure to delight archaeology enthusiasts and fans of the presenter’s comic past alike. The former Blackadder star has fronted the much loved Channel 4 Time Team series for 15 years, creating a new generation of archaeology aficionados. The evening will begin on the portico at St George’s with a wine reception in the early evening sunshine. This will be followed by an update on the World Monuments Fund’s projects from Chief Executive, Jonathan Foyle. Tony’s talk, inviting plenty of questions from the audience, will complete proceedings.
