The Great American Beer Festival

Description: The award winning White Horse on Parsons Green presents it’s first all-singing, all-line dancing, all-American weekend. The festivities commence on Friday 4th July continuing over the Independence Day weekend until Sunday 6th July. We will be celebrating all that is great from across the pond… including line-dancing, great American bands, BBQ all weekend and, of course, the beer. We will have breweries such as Chicago’s Goose Island Beer Company, Flying Dog Brewery from Denver, California’s Sierra Nevada, Anchor Brewing from San Francisco, Oregon’s Rogue Brewery, New York’s Brooklyn Brewery and many more showcasing a wide selection of keg & cask beers. In addition there will be very special English cask ales brewed using Americas’ finest hops & barley, various American draught lagers and an array of bottled beers, plenty to keep you refreshed. The music will be provided by ‘Incredible Blues Puppies’ (Rhythm & Blues) on Friday evening, ‘Bluesabuse’ (Blues & Rock’n’Roll) on Saturday and ‘SpikedriverS’ (American Roots / Americana) rounding off your weekend on Sunday evening. Among the frivolity, on Saturday evening from 8pm, there will be line dancing for everyone, with a caller to keep y’all inline, the three great bands, to keep y’all entertained and an all-American beer & food matching, to keep y'all informed. We will also be playing host to the respected beer journalist Ben McFarland, author of Good Beer Guide, who will be holding a very special seminar & book signing.
