Jennifer Lopez looks years older thanks to expert make-up.

With her face lined with wrinkles, gaudy make-up and unkempt hair, this is Jennifer Lopez as you have never seen her before.

The singer and actress, who normally has flawless skin, was made up to look much older than her 36 years as she shot her latest film El Cantante in New York with husband Marc Antony.

'She looked at least ten years older and several million dollars poorer,' said an onlooker. 'You could almost imagine that this is what her older sister who never got out of the Bronx might look like.' Miss Lopez has bypassed her usual blockbuster fare to make the small independent film. El

Cantante tells the story of salsa singer Hector Lavoe who found fame in America in the 1970s but became addicted to heroin and died penniless of an Aids-related illness. Antony, a Latino singer, plays Lavoe while Miss Lopez plays his wife Puchi.

The couple's marriage has defied critics who said it would go the way of her other romances.

While the pair have been wed for only 18 months, that is several months longer than either of her first two marriages to waiter Ojani Noa and dancer Cris Judd.
