Scarlett takes to the air as Mary Popping

It's Scarlett Poppins

Here's Scarlett Johansson, Poppin out to collect the children during the filming of her latest movie, The Nanny Diaries.

The 21-year-old actress is emulating the famous scene from Disney's 1964 film Mary Poppins, where Julie Andrews floats over London clutching her umbrella.

Johansson's scenes are part of a dream sequence in which she soars high above New York City.

The effect was achieved by technicians strapping her into a safety harness, before she was hoisted by a crane to "float" down to earth.

Her movie is based on the novel of the same name, about a wealthy family in Manhattan.

She plays a university student who finds work as a nanny but has to juggle the family's dysfunction, her studies, the spoilt brat in her charge, and a romance.
