In this poster for his new movie Johnny Depp sits in front of an attic skylight with Big Ben visible through the glass.

Unfortunately, the film about the life of Sweeney Todd is set in the early 19th century, 50 years before the famous clock tower was built.

Cut: Big Ben is visible through the skylight in the poster of Sweeney Todd

After protests from fans, the campaign has been scrapped and a new poster is being produced to publicise the release of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street next month.

Tim Burton's film is based on Stephen Sondheim's Broadway musical and also stars Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman and Sacha Baron Cohen.

In fact if he's in Fleet Street that should be St Pauls in the background - possibly not iconic enough for the average US teen?

- Squiz, Islington

Never mind the fact that if he was in Fleet Street it wouldn't be visible anyway, they've got to tell the Americans it's set in London somehow!

- Sue, Hindhead
