Sneaky charm

It's overwrought and schmaltzy, but this musical drama - about an illiterate urchin from Rajasthan obsessed with Bollywood hunk Bobby Deol - has a sneaky charm.
Samir Karnik's script has an unorthodox take on religion and has a weird sexual energy (and final twist) reminiscent of David Fincher's Fight Club. Real-life heart-throb Deol (who co-produced) gets my vote.
