Kitchen W8
Too long and drawn out but very entertaining with excellent special effects
This is a peculiar play and does not work for me. Some of it is very funny but there are real flaws
Alex has a strong powerful voice and was faultless, she is far better now than she was on the X-Factor

Description: Henry is deliriously happy when his girlfriend Kate accepts his marriage proposal. The big day arrives but festivities do not unfold as planned: Kate is killed and Henry is devastated, unable to move forward with his life. At the behest of his caring sister Chloe, Henry agrees to consult a psychic called Ashley in the hope that he can make contact with Kate and find the peace of mind. Surprisingly, Henry falls madly in love with Ashley and she feels exactly the same. Henry seems to have been gifted a second chance at happiness, except the spirit of Kate is haunting the psychic and intends to break up the fledgling relationship.
Country: US. 2007. 94mins
This is the film which was hopefully going to make Eva Longoria Parker, of Desperate Housewives fame, a star of the big screen, too.
She plays a woman who dies in a ludicrous accident on her wedding day and comes back as an angel mainly to stop her would-be husband (Paul Rudd) falling for Ashley, a pretty psychic (Lake Bell).
He consults the psychic to call his dead wife back to him and lives to regret it. The film is snoozeworthy from beginning to end. It doesn't even begin to work. Its 95 minutes seem like three days.
