Kitchen W8
Too long and drawn out but very entertaining with excellent special effects
This is a peculiar play and does not work for me. Some of it is very funny but there are real flaws
Alex has a strong powerful voice and was faultless, she is far better now than she was on the X-Factor

Max Manus has some flair
If you register one million admissions in a country like Norway, you have a palpable hit on your hands — and Espen Sandberg and Joachim Roenning certainly have that with this widescreen epic about real-life Second World War resistance fighter Max Manus.
Dedicated to overthrowing the puppet government set up by the Nazis in Norway, Max (Aksel Hennie) makes two audacious escapes from captivity, lands up in Scotland and gets parachuted back to sink supply ships in Oslo’s heavily guarded harbour.
The film has the largest budget ever for a Norwegian production and the money has been spent with some flair.
