Action and animation from Disney in G-Force

By Derek Malcolm, Evening Standard  31.07.09

G-Force

Undercover: three guinea pigs work in human espionage

Disney has combined 3D live action and animation to tell the story of three guinea pigs trained to work in human espionage.

There is plenty of action to look at and the voices of Penélope Cruz, Nicolas Cage and Steve Buscemi are in the cast. Bill Nighy plays a sinister cockney industrialist out to control the world.

They all play the game. But it isn’t a notable one and nowhere near the originality of anything from Pixar.
