The ugly truth about this insipid romcom is that Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler are entirely wasted.

She plays a talk-show producer who can�t find a male friend (which is ludicrous in itself, given her looks); he is a shock jock who tells women what makes men really tick.

They don�t get on at all but, of course, eventually fall in love.

They deserve each other �but no actor deserves this slack script and amorphous direction.
