Kitchen W8 is a bargain for this area, if such sophistication is what you crave
Kitchen W8
Too long and drawn out but very entertaining with excellent special effects
This is a peculiar play and does not work for me. Some of it is very funny but there are real flaws
Alex has a strong powerful voice and was faultless, she is far better now than she was on the X-Factor

It is possible, of course, that the Xbox generation have other things on their minds when it comes to violence. If so, they’re probably thinking about something like The Final Destination, a horrific, loud teen-flick where killing and maiming is just a part of everyday comedy. It’s one of those films where everybody is fresh-faced until the blood starts dripping.
Nick O’Bannon (Bobby Campo) has a series of premonitions in which his friends, and various strangers, are brutally killed in a nightmarish sequence. His job is to try to stop these killings before the killings get to him, yet, in the best traditions of the mindless video game, he must encounter a fusillade of blades, explosions and flying cars before he can rest easy. And even then, the horror will always have the last laugh.
The Final Destination has been a popular film series hitherto and the latest one, the fourth, will please the fans. It has the kind of bloodlust and goriness that makes all the difference to horror fans, with enough macabre jokes to keep you in your seat. The splattery dramatics are no doubt enhanced by clever use of 3D technology, where everything from spikes to severed heads can be seen hurtling towards the audience.

Experience tells me the people who love this sort of thing won’t flinch, screen violence having long since become a cue for the kind of laughter that knows no fear. In the end it amounts to a kind of formulaic silliness, where horrific things only really happen to unreal people.
