New Moon is nothing if not an international advertisement for the hungry virtues of virginity and young people can’t get enough of it

Kitchen W8 is a bargain for this area, if such sophistication is what you crave
Kitchen W8
Too long and drawn out but very entertaining with excellent special effects
This is a peculiar play and does not work for me. Some of it is very funny but there are real flaws
Alex has a strong powerful voice and was faultless, she is far better now than she was on the X-Factor
London,

Dir: Simon Pearce.
Cast: Alice Payne, Wayne Virgo, Marc Laurent, Tom Bott
Description: Cal is part of a gang of youths who mix drugs and violence, and express themselves through brutality. He has managed to conceal his homosexuality from the other members of his posse, including his best mate Jonno. When Cal rescues French exchange student Olivier from a beating, the touch-paper is lit for a passionate affair between the two boys, which culminates in an act of shocking brutality.
Country: UK. 2008.
Coming of age drama: Shank
The director of Shank is 21 but he’s an old-timer compared with most of the cast (many of them untrained).
His desire to make us understand “gay bashing” among Bristol teens is worthy but the end result is clunky and contrived.
