Chevolution

Description: Narrated by Miguel Najera, this documentary investigates the enduring appeal of Ernesto 'Che' Guevara using Albert Korda's iconic image of the revolutionary from the '60s, which now adorns t-shirts across the land, as a starting point. Reportedly the most reproduced image in history, the film charts the popularity of the portrait by Castro's personal photographer and it's proliferation in mainstream fashion culture.

Chevolution is thought-provoking

This underwhelming documentary is about the rise and rise of Alberto Korda’s portrait of Che Guevara (shot at a funeral for victims of a terrorist bomb in 1960, but later cut and cropped for general consumption).

Biographers, celebrities, academics and even Gerry Adams discuss the pros and cons of capitalism but are not half as scintillating as they think.
