A tasty Chinese New Year at Min Jiang

One of London's most glamorous Chinese restaurants, Min Jiang, is celebrating Chinese New Year with an authentic set menu including the classic Yu Sheng salad of sashimi and crispy raw vegetables such as carrot and white radish (daikon).

The menu, created by chef Lee Che Liang, also includes Min Jiang's signature Beijing Duck, steamed whole Dover sole with ham, Kai Lan and Chinese mushrooms (fish is eaten to symbolise a wish for prosperity in the coming year), and 'treasure bags' with of wind dried oyster and pork, (eaten to represent prosperity).

An additional, luxury à la carte menu will also be available including dishes such as four treasure roasted chicken, and steamed King crab with Shaoshing wine.

Located at the Royal Garden Hotel, Min Jiang enjoys spectacular tenth-floor views over Kensington Gardens.

Chinese New Year is a family affair and this set menu has been designed for groups of four people or more, priced at £88 per person. Together with the celebratory à la carte menu, it is available for dinner January 22-24. Yu Sheng salad is available as a single dish from January 22 - February 6 (£38.88).
