Alternative festive shows at Southbank Centre

If pantos don't appeal, the Southbank Centre is staging Christmas shows with a difference as part of its Winter Festival.

The multi-award-winning Slava's Snowshow has thrilled audiences in more than 80 cities around the globe, including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Rome, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro and Moscow.

Now the dazzling snowscape is in London until January 8.

Also on bill is Murmurs - a tour of whirlwind romance, city confusion, undersea encounters and dining-room debacles told through a mischievous blend of illusion, circus and dance by director and designer Victoria Thiérrée Chaplin with Aurélia Thiérrée.

As part of its Priceless London project, Mastercard holders are entitled to 50% discounted Murmurs tickets, starting at £7.50.

Priceless London offers its card-holders exclusive access to the very best of London's museums, theatres and restaurants.

For more information and to book visit www.mastercard.co.uk/priceless

Please check www.southbankcentre.co.uk for performance times.
