Best ways to celebrate Burns Night in London

January 25th is the 250th anniversary of the birth of treasured poet Robert Burns, and despite his death at the age of 37 in 1796, his legacy still remains strong. Burns night is all about spending time with friends and family and enjoying the simple pleasures of hearty food, usually featuring haggis, and good company in memory of the earthy Scot.

Here are our top five suggestions of how best to spend Burns Night in the capital...

After dinner there will be a chance to sample a selection of whiskies in their new Whisky Bar. And here's a novel idea, wear a kilt and you'll receive a whopping 50% discount off your meal - what better excuse to show some Scottish pride?
