Decorate your own cupcakes in the capital

With cupcake cafes popping up across the capital it's hard to resist the temptation for tea with a treat. But if you fancy having a stab at decorating your own tasty cupcakes pay a visit to the Make Lounge and learn from an expert.

An instructor will teach you skills that you can do at home, using simple cake decorating tools. At the end of the workshop, you'll take home a box of your own delicious creations.

You'll learn to spread and pipe buttercream icing like a pro, use subtle and vibrant paste colours, roll and cut marzipan to create decorative shapes, and adorn your cakes with glitter, sprinkles and more. Irresistible.

Tickets for classes tend to be snapped up but there are still a couple going for Wednesday 17 February. Keep checking www.themakelounge.com for updates or to book your class.
