Every year Richard Herring creates an intriguing new show about a subject that is dear to his heart and this one, What Is Love, Anyway? explores the nature of passion, with our hero wondering if love is more or less rational than religious belief. As ever with Herring, there's lots going on, at times puerile, at times poignant, at times a combination of both.

Reginald D Hunter
This charismatic UK-based American is always thought-provoking on matters from sexual equality to racism, but he never forgets to be very funny too. Reports from his UK tour suggest it is Hunter's most finely tuned set yet - controversial and challenging, never dull.
