Highlights include a nightly son et lumière performance of Handel's Water Music (first performed on a London barge, by the way) to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Handel's death, at the National Maritime Museum; Fous de Bassin (Waterfools) an extraordinary theatrical waterscape with fire and pyrotechnics created by French troupe Ilotopie at Millwall Outer Dock tonight at 10pm; and Pi‑Leau, a piece of promenade street theatre in Woolwich town centre and at the Royal Arsenal Woolwich tomorrow evening, where, you are warned, you may get wet.

There are also pop-up events at Greenwich landmarks including the Cutty Sark and the Royal Observatory.

Fabulous feelgood musical with music and lyrics by Jerry Herman. New York matchmaker Dolly Levi (Samantha Spiro) sets her sights on millionaire Horace Vandergelder (Allan Corduner). Great tunes include Put On Your Sunday Clothes, Before the Parade Passes By, It Only Takes a Moment and the title song. Directed by Timothy Sheader.

Home to what may be London's most civilised elevenses — seed cake and a glass of Madeira. It's a stylish but utilitarian room with small, tightly packed tables and chairs, dominated by an open-plan bakery and kitchen. Simple. Delicious. Very good value.
