Lindy-hop til late

Rugcutters Swing Night
19 July, 7.15pm, £5-£8, Finsbury Town Hall

Hefty reserves of stamina are likely to be required for this evening of swing and lindy-hop dancing.

Lindy-hop is perhaps better known as the Jitterbug, brought so famously to life by George Michael in his Wham days.

The order of the night sees dance novices take to the floor at 7.15pm, followed an hour later by those of an intermediate standard, which basically means people who have some idea of what to do with their feet in this form of dance. Anyone not exhausted by the end can keep practising until late.
