The annual nationwide swimming initiative attracts up to 25,000 participants each year and many of the capitals swimming pools will be taking part in this year's fundraiser for Marie Curie Cancer Research.
All abilities are catered for and swimmers are able to undertake a distance of their choice, ranging from 1.5k for occasional swimmers, to 5k for the super-fit.
Registration must be made at www.swimathon.org by 15 April and a full list of London pools taking part can also be found on the website.
