Moonwalk for lunch

Moonwalking for beginners

26 October, from 12 midday - 2pm, Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane

A range of offbeat events are taking place around the capital as part of the MINI Other Lunch break series and this event pays homage to a simple looking, but highly difficult dance move - the Moonwalk.

The MINI lunch break idea has been designed to give workers a chance to reclaim their lunch hour while learning new and life enhancing skills. In the case of moonwalking, life enhancement and a new-found popularity among friends is likely to go through the roof.

Other bizarre lunch offerings include the chance to learn the moves of Kung-Fu legend Bruce Lee and 'discover your inner 007' at a James Bond style Spy School.

Putting participants through their dance paces will be legendary singer/songwriter Jeffrey Daniel, who found fame with his group Shalamar in the 1980s.

The Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane is the venue and interested wannabee Michael Jacksons can Moonwalk off to book a free place at www.theotherlunchbreak.co.uk
