Season of Shakespeare

Shakespeare's Globe 2008 Season

(020 7401 9919, www.seetickets.com)

Tickets for this year's season of Shakespeare at the Globe go on sale today. King Lear, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Timon of Athens and The Merry Wives of Windsor will be gracing the boards of the reconstructed Globe.

And if this diverse selection of tragedy, comedy and love does not lure you to Bankside, the bill also sees two premieres for those seeking a more modern touch.

Che Walker's The Frontline explores London on a Saturday night, while Glyn Maxwell's Liberty captures the French revolution.

For the past 11 years, the resurrected Globe has enjoyed resounding success - make sure you're in the loop.
