It's a pretty reasonable place to go if some of your friends want a wine bar and some of them want a pub. The all-French staff perform as if they've been running the place for years and they're always polite and efficient. As a result, it's not a surprise that the place feels quite a lot like a continental establishment and the somewhat gastro menu reflects that, too. We can heartily recommend the lamb burger if you're feeling peckish, and the chips are superb! They also do breakfast, from 7.30 until 10.30 - and we'll be back to check this out at some point.

It does get busy of an evening, with punters spilling out onto the pavement, but it quietens one most of the customers have commuted their weary way home.
