Quirky and olde worlde

A quirky Sam Smith's pub in the heart of the touristy bit of Soho. Some nice old features remain and give the pub an olde worlde atmosphere.
It larger than it looks from the outside, with a basement bar and space out the back to have a cigarette hidden away, along with a hugely enjoyable bar billiards table.
There's usually a regular or two in the front part of the pub - it's that kind of place - along with the usual smattering of Soho media office workers. Sadly service on our last visit was terrible with a barman who clearly didn't enjoy his job and wanted everyone to know - we'll see if it improves next time.
Nevertheless, it's better than a lot of the tourist traps in the area, made even better by Sam Smith's (cheap) pricing. It's a good place to meet on a Saturday to get a pint or two in if you enjoy Sam Smith's fare before going to the more packed of the Soho pubs, bars and clubs.
