This Tudorbethan pub has a nice oak-panelled 1930s interior, which hasn't been messed about with too much, simply spruced up, giving it a clubby, comfortable air. It's pretty relaxed during the week, though it does end up picking up refugees from the nearby Hilton; it does get rather busier at the weekend, although it can be pretty much a local affair.

There's a good range of well-kept Fuller's ales on offer on the hand pumps, with a pretty reasonable wine-list, for those who aren't into pints. And, all that's accompanied by an extensive Thai menu and some traditional pub grub.
