St John has the upper crust

St John is not only the headquarters of British cuisine in London, it also has a splendid bread oven and a full-time baker who makes outstanding bread. Recently these loaves have proved a runaway success at various farmers' markets, and the restaurant even runs occasional bread-making courses for foodies seeking tips from experts (contact the restaurant for details). In the meantime, pop in for a loaf to take home, or for a meal accompanied by some really good bread.
