Sienna Miller praises London women's dress sense

22.09.09

Sienna Miller paid tribute to the dress sense of London women as she took centre stage at one of the world's most prestigious fashion shows.

The actress and designer fronts uber-stylish label Twenty8Twelve with her sister Savannah.

The duo were centre of attention as they presented their second collection at London Fashion Week in the capital last night.

The collection is inspired by the changing cultural boundaries of 1950s Alabama and the vivid colours of artists such as Willem de Kooning and Jackson Pollock.

But Miller also said well-dressed Londoners had proved inspirational to the pair.

She explained: "London girls are really at the forefront, I think my biggest inspiration and Sav's for this collection was driving through London.

"People really aren't afraid to be themselves here and it's a really inspirational place to live and design in."

On her collection she added: "We've got a lot more colour. It's really sexy. We've got swimwear for the first time. We really feel like this is our most exciting collection."
