At the end of a long working day, would you rather have sex or sleep?

But what about when both of you pass out cold before you even get that far?
A survey of 8,500 Brits earlier this year revealed that almost 80 per cent of those asked preferred the thought of getting extra sleep to having sex, suggesting that the long days at work are taking their toll between the sheets.
But is London conforming to the trend? We went to Hob hairdressing salon on Baker Street to find out from Londoners whether, after a hard day at the office, they would prefer sex or sleep.
SEX
Claire, 28, fundraiser
"If I'm with someone I like I'd rather have sex, otherwise I'd rather sleep on my own. There's no sacrifice for me, sex relaxes me much more than sleeping and the next day is much better."
SLEEP
Grant, 33, hair stylist
"I'd definitely sacrifice sex. At the end of the day, you're just too pushed. The morning is a better time. Men have more testosterone in the morning anyway."
SEX
Resham, 32, fashion designer
"I'm in my prime, so why would I not be able to perform? If you have mental energy generally and your mind is clear, then you should be able to have sex and not worry about the sleep."
SEX
Maria, 22, graduate student
"Life is too short. You have to enjoy it and I enjoy sex, so I'd always sacrifice sleep. Being a bit tired doesn't matter."
SLEEP
Kes, 32, business development manager
"I'd rather get the rest and try to go for sex later when I'm more refreshed. The sex might not be as great if I was tired and I am someone who likes to have eight hours' sleep a night at least."
SEX
Georgina, 20, student
"I tend to not get much sleep anyway, so sacrificing a bit for sex wouldn't make much difference. Plus I tend to sleep better after sex. I've managed to function without the sleep until now and I enjoy the sex more than the sleep."
SEX
Clive, 49, salon director
"I'm the kind of man who says: 'Any time, any place, anywhere.' I've got quite a high libido. What I think is that if you have a good sex session and go to sleep straight afterwards you will end up feeling more relieved."
