Mark Prigg takes a look at this week's new tech releases...

Clear quality sound
The iLuv iEP515 headphones are a real bargain and have an inbuilt remote control for iPhone owners as well as a slick, transparent look. They are very comfortable, and the sound quality is excellent for the price, making them the perfect first upgrade from Apple's white earphones. £49.99, argos.com

Mario's silver jubilee
Mario is one of the most recognised computer game characters in history, and to celebrate the plucky plumber's 25th anniversary, Nintendo has re-released four classic Mario games for the Wii. They are still amazingly addictive, and the collectors' edition even includes a strangely compelling soundtrack CD with music from the games. £24.99, nintendo.com
