The Metro weekender returns with yet another irresistible line-up of DJs, bands and alternative entertainment. Elsewhere there's Pete Tong, Steve Lawler and the Shapeshifters' debut UK performance and Judge Jules and Fergie.
The highlights of Sunday's Get Loaded In The Park include Pete Doherty's Babyshambles and Lily Allen's chatty reggae pop on the main stage. Badly Drawn Boy, British Sea Power and the Guillemots will keep indie fans happy on the second stage while the Bugged Out! arena features shimmering electro from Tiga, Green Velvet and Erol Alkan. Sean Rowley's immensely popular Guilty Pleasures provides light relief. The Weekender has sold out both previous years, so get your tickets sharpish.

Saturday sees live performances from geeky art popsters Hot Chip, booty electro trio Spank Rock and grime cultheroes Jammer and Ruff Sqwad as well as DJs including techno/electro champions Andrew Weatherall, Ivan Smagghe and Ewan Pearson, and turntablist Cut Chemist. Sunday's highlights include Sasha, Roll Deep (live), dubstep from Digital Mystikz, an arena hosted by summer outdoor raving crew Secret Sundaze, with Ninja Tune's DJ Food and Hexstatic (AV set) also appearing.

Fourteen years old and still going strong, techno institution Lost presents an epic double-header this Sunday, with Jeff Mills and Laurent Garnier. Individually, Mills and Garnier would roadblock a superclub, and both have headlined Barcelona's Sonar festival in recent years. It's Garnier's first Lost date in 12 years, and the night has acted as a testing ground for boundarybreaking Detroit techno pioneer Mills. This could be dance music history in the making.
Werk Das Boot
Tomorrow, Battersea Barge, Nine Elms Lane SW8, 9pm to 3am, £8. Tel: 07990 970 267. Tube: Vauxhall
Werk Das Boot has a penchant for the unusual and true to form brings together two wildly differing - but related - genres in a soundclash. DJ Derek, a sixty-something former accountant cited by Massive Attack as an inspiration, selects a feel-good soundtrack of roots reggae, lover's rock and dancehall. Kode 9, behind the definitive Dubstep Allstars 3 mix CD, showcases the underground sound of the year, dubstep.
