Sugababes
Dominion Theatre, W1
The most harmonious line-up yet plays a theatre show to mark the release of their first must-have album – their greatest hits, a peerless collection of edgy modern pop if ever there was one. (0870 169 0116). Sun 29 Oct, 7pm.
C86 – Still Doing It For Fun
ICA, SW1
The "indie" label may be meaningless in these days of guitar bands dominating the charts and making millions, but in 1986 it was genuinely the sound of the underground. The ICA marks the twentieth anniversary of its original C86 festival with two days of acts still keeping the independent spirit alive – the Magic Numbers, Gokart Mozart and Vic Godard & Subway Sect play tonight, while Aztec Camera's Roddy Frame tops the bill tomorrow. (020 7930 3647). Fri 27, Sat 28 Oct, 7.30pm.
Sparklehorse
Queen Elizabeth Hall, SE1
Drug addiction and health problems have ensured that Mark Linkous, who is Sparklehorse, is far from prolific, but that only makes fans treasure his dreamlike songs all the more. Here we can expect to hear tracks from typically lovely recent album Dreamt For Light Years In The Belly Of A Mountain, his first in five years. (08703 800 400). Fri 27 Oct, 7.45pm.
Tom Jones
Wembley Arena, HA9
In his first tour as a knight of the realm, Sir Tom still proves he's a man of the people, gladly airing all the old favourites once again in one of Britain's best loved voices.
(0870 060 0870). Sat 28 Oct, 8pm.
Zero 7
Brixton Academy, SW9
Three albums in, it looks as though tranquil duo Sam Hardaker and Henry Binns will never get out from under the chillout tag, despite latest work The Garden being an impressively varied proposition and their concerts being a fair bit livelier than their records. Keep your fingers crossed for an appearance by charming collaborator José González. (0870 771 2000) Sat 28 Oct, 7.30pm.
