The Gallery
Turnmills, EC1
Run in conjunction with Above and Beyond, tonight's Gallery dives unashamedly into the waters of trance. Topping the bill, America's biggest trance DJ Christopher Lawrence makes a rare appearance, after the crowd have heard the tougher house sound of John "00" Flemming. King Unique also appear, giving musical clues to the sound of their new compilation. (020 7250 3409). Tonight, 10pm-7.30am.
Hot & Spicy
Hidden, SE11
This ever popular party features a high-spirited funky house set from Hed Kandi's Andy Norman. Kate Lawler, who, believe it or not, is being taken increasingly seriously as a DJ, also appears. As usual, the night features a retro element with Huckleberry Finn presenting a decade of classics, starting - as you might expect – with 1989. (020 7820 0788). Sat 4 Nov, 11pm-7am.
Fabric
Fabric, EC1
Curated by Soulwax, tonight features a live PA from Simian Mobile Disco, a dancier, more electro-based spin-off of Simian, the act who sparred with Justice to bring you the irresistible We Are Your Friends. There's also the highly respected and extremely dance-friendly techno artiste, Vitalic, 2 Many DJs and Zombie Nation. (020 7336 8898). Sat 4 Nov, 10pm-7am
Buzzin Fly
Plastic People, EC2
Ben Watt's monthly showcase of interestingly-curated dance music from around the world continues with a party celebrating the release of the Mind Games, a trancey new track by Abyss, signed to Watt's Buzzin' Fly label. Watt and Resident Chris Woodward preside over this cosy little nightery for a friendly-vibed knees-up that ends at a civilized hour. (020 7739 6471). Sun 5 Nov, 7pm-12.30am.
Bastard Flamenco
Cargo, EC2
DJ Panko may be a new name to you, but he's rightly celebrated by Spanish music fans as the DJ and producer of the group Ojos De Brujo, known for their successful and cheese-free fusions of flamenco with funk and hip-hop. Celebrating another side of the music of Barcelona, there's a live performance from the gypsy collective, Laxula, as well as a display of song and dance from contemporary flamenco troupe, Sumaya. (020 7749 7840). Sun 5 Nov, 7pm-12am.

I love the music at Fabric, but they let so many people in you can't move and it really spoils the night. A real shame.
