Brit Awards' viewer-vote nominees revealed

12 Feb 2007

The five songs which will compete in the Brit Awards' first ever live vote have been unveiled.

The British Single Award will be decided by the press of a button - as viewers text in for their favourites during ITV1's live broadcast of the show on Valentine's Day.

Take That, who enjoyed a massive comeback last year, are among the list of nominees. They face competition from Snow Patrol, Razorlight, The Feeling and Will Young.

Taking place at London's Earls Court, the 26th Brit Awards will be hosted by comedian Russell Brand and broadcast between 8pm and 10pm.

Mancunian rockers Oasis will walk off with The Outstanding Contribution to Music Award. They will perform at the glitzy event along with Amy Winehouse, Corrine Bailey Rae, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snow Patrol, The Killers, Scissor Sisters and Take That.

The British Single nominees are:

The Feeling - Fill My Little World
Razorlight - America
Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
Take That - Patience
Will Young - All Time Love
