The Voice of Slavery concert

Razorlight have signed up to a special gig to mark the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade in Britain.

Finlay Quaye, Supergrass and Emmanuel Jal will also perform live at the charity event at The Forum in Kentish Town.

The night will be hosted by Radio 1 DJ Lisa I'Anson and singer Daniel Bedingfield.

A host of stars are expected to attend, including Samantha Morton, Rhys Ifans and Sadie Frost who will demonstrate their DJ-ing skills.

The event aims to raise money for the charity Anti-Slavery International, which combats modern-day forms of slavery.

I sympathize with how black people might feel about slavery but my ancestors had nothing to do with it so I dont think I need to apologise for this.Only the rich middle classes benefited from slave labour working white people in that age worked for a pitance of a wage and had no slaves.
