Snoop Dogg denied UK visa

The UK leg of an international hip-hop tour is in doubt after rapper Snoop Dogg was denied a visa to enter Britain.
Snoop is currently co-headlining a European tour with fellow American rapper P Diddy and had been due to play five UK dates.
The star - whose real name is Calvin Broadus - accepted a police caution after being arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and affray at Heathrow Airport in April last year.
In a statement, a spokesman for the tour said: "Snoop and his team are mystified at the decision and are hoping that the British government will reconsider this decision, especially as he has toured here before and sees the UK as being the highlight of the tour.
"He has asked how he can help rectify the situation and would happily talk to and give assurances to the officials."
A planned concert at Wembley Arena on Tuesday will go ahead whatever the outcome, the spokesman added.
A Foreign and Commonwealth Office spokeswoman said: "We would never comment on visa applications by individuals."

Since when did Americans need a visa to come to the UK?

I've waited years for this concert and then something stupid like this happens. Snoop's not the problem.
Pathetic. I'm starting to really hate this country. They get everything wrong.
Supposedly the show will carry on... who cares. I dont want to see P.Diddy. Only snoop. Does anyone know if the home office will be giving me my refund for the ticket, travel and hotel?

I am absolutely disgusted that the Home Office has denied Snoop Dogg a visa because of a "caution"! How many terrorists have they let into this country? How many foreigners have they allowed to have untold passports AND get away with it.
What does it tell Black people in this country? Whenever a black person that wants to come into this country there is ALWAYS a problem, i.e Louis Farrakhan.
It's no wonder with the Police Force being institutionally racist why should the Home Office be any different!

Good. Maybe the next time he and his "hangers-on" want to act like they are above the law, they'll think twice!
